When you check out of a hospital and you have a fruit basket
delivered, give me 8 hours to pick it up from dawn, ok?
Eating a discharged patients fruit delivery seems adverse to decorum
and ethics. After all, when the order was placed the day before it was
the patient's property. Do you agree? Leave it at the daily concierge
station or something. Otherwise, a patient needs to sign a release to
the effect of a hold harmless agreement for late get well deliveries.
Like for amputees, et cetera.
