The Wayward Coffeehouse is Seattle’s geek friendly coffeehouse.  The owner is a dedicated Browncoat and is a proponent of the science fiction/fantasy fan community.   Many gaming groups and genre groups meet there regularly.    There are monthly SF/Fantasy film nights and there are often local author readings. 

 

The coffee and treats are great, the seating is comfortable, and the wifi is free.

Sunshine is back but the temperature is falling. Warm up at Wayward and enjoy our weekend entertainment offerings while sipping delicious seasonal treats like Hot Apple Cider, Egg Nog Latte, or Gingerbread Mocha.

It’s time for our monthly First Friday Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film Night and in honour of the holiday season we are showing “Blackadder’s Christmas Carol + Back & Forth”, two special episodes of the cult favorite British series. Come down to Wayward on Friday at 9 pm to see what strange twists Blackadder takes on familiar tales.

And on Saturday we say good bye to our long-time resident musicians, Jazz in the Corner. This will be their LAST performance at Wayward Coffeehouse for the foreseeable future due to changes in band member schedules. Come down for their final night of unique and original jazz offerings. (Not to fret, we will still have “first Saturday jazz” and will be welcoming North End Jazz Quartet in January).
