[nwsfs-announcements] Norwescon Election Results

Elections were held for the officers of Norwescon 34 on Saturday May
8th with Keith Johnson, LouAnna Valentine, and Doug Booze on this
year’s election committee.

Our quorum number needed to make the election valid was 85 ballots
(65% of 129 eligible voters).  We reached quorum with 89 ballots
received.

Winners are indicated by “**”.  The results were:

Since there was a tie of ballots cast, the candidates chose to
determine the outcome with three coin tosses, with whomever won two of
the three tosses to be declared the winner.  Shawn won two out of
three coin tosses.

Congratulations to Shawn, William, Jeanine and Shannon and thank you
to everyone who participated in this year’s election.
