Howdy Charlie, Tara here.  What is this Sat forecast for everyones trip to Pitts? It doesn't look good for Friday into Sat.. The roads might be tricky? If you have any input please let us know. We do plan to go down Sat early a.m. before dawn. Hope to see everyone there and pray the weather and roads will be ok. Thanks Charlie for all your updated weather reports. Sincerely Tara.

Winter Storm Watches posted for northern portion of state
*Low Pressure currently along the Gulf coast will lift northeast
*Weather system moving across Ohio Valley on Friday morning
*These two systems will “Phase” into a strong coastal storm on Friday night
*Impacts expected across northern, central and eastern PA Friday through Saturday morning
* Mixed precipitation for southern PA on Friday morning turning to all snow in the afternoon…light accumulations
*Accumulating snows for central, northern and eastern PA Friday afternoon – Saturday morning

Western Pennsylvania
*Minor impacts – precipitation Thursday night and Friday…rain/snow in the Pittsburgh area…snow NW PA
Central Pennsylvania
*Mainly a snow event…may start out with mixed precipitation…
*light to moderate amounts of snow expected
Eastern Pennsylvania
*Highest risk for heavier precipitation
*Northeast…significant snow event likely
