I produce the magazine style TV series "SEA-Inside: Pacific Northwest." This half-hour show focuses on underwater stories of the PNW, and occasionally from other places. It reaches a growing number of homes, currently about 3 million, and is aired by 40 cable-access stations.
I receive numerous video and photo submissions, some quite well done, some need work. The purpose of this show is not so much to dazzle people with technically amazing cinematography -- it's more to offer viewers glimpses of a world they would seldom have a chance to see. So when I receive material that has some worthwhile imagery but needs editing help, I like to find a way to re-cut it so that it can be shown to viewing audiences without making them nauseous or fall asleep.
If someone out there would like to do some editing on footage I provide, please contact me. I produce a show every 2 months, though that may increase to monthly by the end of the year. The number and size of projects that will needed editing will be quite variable, but most segments of my show are less than 10 minutes long.
UNPAID: This is a non-profit project in association with Northwest Film Forum. It has virtually no income yet, so I can't offer compensation for editing. Nor can I provide editing suite.
