Sunday Topic: How do we promulgate Conservative Ideas?

You have an interesting site and vision. I just want to let you know how insidious the, for lack of a better term, forces that you are up against with regards to promulgating conservative principles.
Have you ever heard of Cory Doctorow? I'm going to bet that you haven't. Cory Doctorow is a Canadian blogger, journalist and science fiction writer. He was tagged by Forbes Magazine as one of the Web's 25 influencers, and was noted as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. With nothing more than a high school diploma, "Doctorow was named the 2006-2007 Canadian Fulbright Chair in Public Diplomacy at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy, jointly sponsored by the Royal Fulbright Commission, the Integrated Media Systems Center, and the USC Center on Public Diplomacy. So why do I bring up a guy who must have something going on in his brain pan in order to be appointed to sit on assets for a year at USC? Because he has been invited by the Seattle Public Library to come to Seattle and bash the Bush Administration and the Department of Homeland Security. But he isn't doing this explicitly. He is doing it in the guise of promoting his new Young Adult science fiction book, titled "Little Brother".
How do I know this will be a Bash Bush event? Here is part of the SPL blurb on the event:
"Come hear Cory Doctorow read from his book Little Brother, a futuristic story whose 17-year old protagonist and friends find themselves caught in the aftermath of a major terrorist attack on San Francisco and call on their wisdom of the networked world to battle the Department of Homeland Security."
While American soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines are ar war with an enemy that would line Doctorow up in soccer field and put a bullet in his brain, Doctorow, through his science fiction, is filling your kids with the idea that the real enemy is the American Dept. of Homeland Security.
I don't mean to dissuade you from your project. I just want to alert you to what you are up against with your project, and how great the barricades are that the popular culture and its gatekeepers have erected against conservative principles.

Wow. Is this a incredible. The antidote, IMO, is for each of us to do as much as we can to spread the word with the very best information in the most convincing way we can. I’m searching effective ways to accomplish this, then do what I can to make it happen. What you are pointing out this truly is a war, not a polite exchange between open minded people.
