When a new Google Form response is submitted, Autocrat copies down the previous row’s “Link to merged Doc” value instead of generating a new document.
It appears as if Autocrat is reusing the last merged file and skipping the merge process entirely.
Each form submission adds a new row to the response sheet (as expected).
However, instead of Autocrat creating a new merge document, it copies the “Link to merged Doc” from the last processed row.
This behavior happens across multiple spreadsheets and form connections, even after troubleshooting.
Here’s what has been tried so far (all with no success):
Disabled all custom Apps Script triggers.
Reconnected the Google Form to a new response destination.
Rebuilt the entire Autocrat job from scratch.
Toggled the “Run on form submit” trigger off and back on.
Verified permissions, ownership, and triggers.
Tested across multiple forms and sheets, same behavior everywhere.
Screenshot Example

The “Link to merged Doc” for Allen, Jessica repeats over multiple new form submissions instead of generating unique merge URLs.
Has anyone else experienced this issue recently (October–November 2025)?
We are currently having to manually run Autocrat for all spreadsheets.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
