NUnit Category not saved in .nunit file ?

I am still using NUnit 2.5.2 and I found pretty unfrendly if once
changed categories in NUnit GUI that they are not saved in ".nunit"
file (with File-> Save). So every time I start my automatic testing
tool I must manuelly select the right category.
Is there any workaround or something which will always select some
default category ?

I don't think this belongs in the .nunit file unless we add a section
for other kinds of test filtering to it in the future.
OTOH, it probably makes sense to automatically save it in the
visual state file, where we already save the selected test and/or
checked tests.
This file is intended for info about the gui state the last time
the test was run, while the .nunit file holds the permanent
definition of the test project.
I suggest filing a feature request for this.
