Subject: [nunit-discuss] ASP.NET MVC 2.0 Templates for NUnit?
Hello,

I'm wondering what the current situation is with NUnit test templates
for ASP.NET MVC 2.0. I get the impression that MVC 2.0 was due to
support test frameworks other than MSTest, but that this didn't
actually happen. Searches turn up the video series on www.asp.net and
various comments and posts about using NUnit with ASPNET MVC, most
quite old, but I haven't been able to find a current "official" answer
on the templates.

Thanks in advance,

Stuart Ellis

Same here.

I ported the MSTest unit test templates to NUnit when VS2010 came out
(using the trial of VS2010 Professional), including integration in
Visual Studio so the templates show up in the Unit Test Project dialog
of ASP.NET MVC 2.

When I discovered that the dialog doesn't show in the Express editions,
even with the NUnit template registered, I stopped working on the
integration. As it is now, the templates are fully ported and tests
execute flawlessly in NUnit, just the reference to the main ASP.NET
project isn't added to the test project after the project wizard closes.
If interested, I provided my port for download here:
