I have hierarchy like data-driven test cases that’s 3 levels deep.
Currently the TestFixture can only be instantiated only a constant
number of times. How can I parameterize the TestFixture based on
source input, same like the TestCaseSource attribute?
I am sorry if it has been discussed before. I am new to NUnit and
couldn’t find what I am looking for anywhere.
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Edward
This sounds like a good idea for a new feature. Parameterized test
fixtures were developed as an experiment and the features do not
yet match what you can get for test methods. I'd like to see us
unify the model for providing data to fixtures and methods.
It would be great if you would submit a request for this idea,
adding as much detail and examples of how it might work as you
can. You can do that in the context of a bug report at
http://bugs.launchpad.net/nunit-3.0 - use tag 'feature'.
If you really feel like putting in some effort, you could add
a specification to the wiki. Contact me offline about gaining
write access to the specification area if you're interested.
