Exaggerated media shelling this is.. why mention another totally
unrelated product, just because it was programmed using the same
language..

Well, Rahul its a well written code, written mostly by a nation, was undetectable for past 4 to 8 years, so i think its worth all the attention it gets.

My only thought is if one country did it, other countries will do the same, while at present case it was espionage, in future it will be for oppression.

Best regards,

Sainath Gupta,

Was wondering why they did not use  http://tinyscheme.sourceforge.net/home.html  its perfectly fits the bill:

"Eventually, we got sick of writing a new C program every time we wanted to go kick somebody off of a machine. Everybody said, “What we need is something configurable.” I said, “Let’s install a Turing-complete language,” and for that I used tinyScheme, which is a BSD licensed, very small, very fast implementation of Scheme that can be compiled down into about a 20K executable if you know what you’re doing."

and BTW LUA is pretty popular in MMO gaming  bots ...which mainly come from china =)
