Hello, world! At the behest of Sean, I'd like to take the opportunity
to introduce myself.
My name is Mark. I am an utter and complete Ruby newbie -- well,
fraud, really -- and don't have anything useful to offer any of you.
However, I'm learning, so here I am.
I'm coming at Ruby from a web development perspective, although all of
my Rubying thus far has been of the shell script persuasion. If Macs,
and XHTML, and trying to figure out the semantic way to code a web
site make you giddy, we'd get probably along pretty well.
And, well, that's about it. Keep the scripty goodness flowing, folks,
