Liz Hokanson and I and two of our kids (10,16) are headed up early Sat morning (6am, maybe earlier) returning Sunday late afternoon/early evening.
Looks like there will definitely be skiing on the groomed trails (5 mi ), possibly more on other trails (25km) and maybe some higher elevation trails (from talking to Mike @ White Grass)
Weather is a little iffy. The chance of precipitation is lower (20%) than we it was previously, so it's trending the right way :)
We have room for 2 or maybe 3.

My daughter and I have decided not to go. Here are the latest conditions.

The snow farm will still be fine. Let me know if you still go and how it was.

We went. We hadn't realized that it was Trails Day! White Grass on Trails Day is fantastic. EVERYTHING was free. Clay and Emmy did a telemarking lesson while Claire and I tested out snowshoes. Conditions for XC were great on Saturday. Snow was heavy and only the snow farm was skiable. Not enough snow anywhere else. Temperature probably went up to 38 or so on Saturday; it was really comfortable and not bad for the 1st outing of the season. Melting occurred during the day. Then the sun went down and everything froze. We decided to go back out Sat night after dinner by the light of the almost full moon. Very fast, very difficult. And falling hurt. On Sunday, we had to wait until it thawed a little. But by 11am or so, it was fine again. All in all, a super trip. Sorry we didn't see you. Later in the season, though.

The WG folks said they'd heard there was snow moving in, and that they try very hard to keep the website updated daily (at the end of the day).
