If you do not mind receiving in stock alerts for all stores and items, then this is the best option. We will limit the emails sent for products that remain in stock on our end, so as not to fill your inboxes with emails.

Join the Group:
If you have never joined a Google Group before or do not already have a Google Account with the email address you want alerts sent to, then you must create a Google Account. If you would like alerts sent to your mobile device, your will need to create a Google Account for your mobile number if you have not done so already.
  • Visit the Group: http://groups.google.com/group/nowinstocknet-nvidia-gtx-1080
  • Click Join group under the group name -OR- Click Sign In in the upper right.
  • If you already have a Google Account with the specific email address you want alerts sent to, then you can move to the next step. If not, you will need to create a new Google Account with the email address you want alerts sent to. In other words, make sure that your Google Account login/email is the specific email address you want to receive alerts at. If you have to create a new account, remember your Account login information!!!!! You will need this info to unsubscribe in the future. If you want TXT alerts, follow the instructions in the welcome message for the group.
  • IMPORTANT! When the Join the NowInStock.net NVIDIA GTX 1080 (modal/popup) appears, next to "Email delivery preference:" change the drop-down to "Notify me for every new message".
  • Click the Join this group button.
  • Done!
Setup Mobile Alerts:
To have alerts sent to your mobile device, you have two options:

Option 1: Forward this group's emails (from: nowinstocknet-nvidia-gtx-1080@googlegroups.com) to your mobile device. As an example, in Gmail, you can forward email to your mobile device with Filters: 
  1. In Gmail, navigate to (Gear Icon) > Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Add a Forwarding Address (button). Click the button.
  2. Enter your mobile's Email-to-Text address (see below for more details) and click Next. 
  3. Click Proceed in the pop-up.
  4. You should receive a code via text on your phone. The code should be the 9-digit number in the message, i.e. "((#123456789) Gmail Forwarding Confirmation..." 
  5. Within the Gmail Forwarding interface, enter the verification code. Click Verify.
  6. Make sure Disable Forwarding is still selected as you do not want to forward all of your email. 
  7. Now it is time to set up a filter. 
  8. Click Filters and Blocked Addresses (tab) > Create a New Filter. 
  9. Enter "nowinstocknet-nvidia-gtx-1080@googlegroups.com" into the From field. Click Create filter with this search »
  10. Check the box next to "Forward it to:", select your email-to-text address in the Choose Your Address drop-down, and click Create Filter button.
  11. All set up... next time we send alerts from this group, Gmail will forward the message to your device.
Option 2: Create a Google Account with the email-to-text address of your mobile device.

Email-to-Text/SMS Address:
Your email-to-text address typically is: "number@mobilegateway.com" where "number" = your 10-digit phone number & "mobilegateway.com" = your mobile carrier's gateway. Below are a list of common mobile gateways.

Common mobile gateways:
Verizon: number@vtext.com
AT&T: number@txt.att.net
Sprint: number@messaging.sprintpcs.com
T-Mobile USA: number@tmomail.net

If your mobile carrier is not above, find your carrier and corresponding gateway in this list.

Unsubscribe from Google Group:

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ the following instructions in order to unsubscribe.

  1. Send an blank email from the EXACT email address that is receiving alerts to:
    nowinstocknet-nvidia-gtx-1080+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com
  2. After sending the above email, you will receive a response email from Google Groups. (Remember to check your SPAM/Junk Mail!) In this response, you will receive one of two responses:
    • POTENTIAL RESPONSE 1: An email with instructions on how to complete the unsubscribing process. If you receive this response, just follow the instructions in the email and you will be unsubscribed.
    • POTENTIAL RESPONSE 2: An email saying your email address is NOT subscribed. If you receive this response, then you did not send the email in Step 1 from the EXACT email address you signed up with to the Google Group. If this is the case, try sending an email from any alias or secondary email address that forwards to your current email address.
  • ONLY after following the above instructions, and you still cannot unsubscribe:
    1. Create an email with the following information included:
      1. Subject Line should say: UNSUBSCRIBE-nowinstocknet-nvidia-gtx-1080
      2. In the email, list ALL email addresses that could be potentially subscribed to the Group
    2. If you do NOT include the above information in the email, you will continue to receive alerts.
    3. Email the information to unsubscribegg@nowinstock.net.
