I have a HP / Compaq dc7100 with an 80GB SATA Hard Drive, a CDROM and no
floppy. It's running XP Pro. I have 1GB RAM and VMWare and tried to
installe SUSE Desktop.

It loads the start screen and that's it, it doesn't get any further are
SATA Drives too new for 9.1 or can someone help?

Not sure about VMware but 9.1 does support SATA, well at least I hope it
does as I am posting from a machine that only uses 2xSATA drives and it
installed perfectly.
