hello,
I've been reading the docs from autoyast but I can't seem to find one
thing.
What if you've setup a machine with additional software not found on the
suse disks. How can I make a clone (or image) of that workstation and
put it on some network resource I can use to deploy that exact clone to
workstations on the network?

Would yast or autoyast let me image a workstation and use that image as
the copy to deploy to all workstations or is this a 3rd party deal?

I've found
http://www.feyrer.de/g4u/
this place and i used that for now.

It works great and was easy to use.

But can suse tools do this?

AutoYaST doesn't do imaging in this way. When ZLM 7 comes out it will do
imaging. What you want to do is set up a postinstall script that installs
the 3rd party software. You can store the software on the installation
source you're installing from.
