The linux client for SLED 10 (NCL 1,2) has been out since 28 of July.
There was numerous known problems at this release date and still there
hasnt been a single patch, update or anything at all released.

Does anybody know anything about NCL? Novell should just drop Vista
support until support for their OWN products are finished.

Novell is working on a Novell Client for Linux v2.0. I don't know what the
planned release date for that version is. I think it's planned to become
available togather with SLED 10 SP1.

The 2.0 client will be coming shortly it is being alpa tested with OES2 now.
It will include and integrated - one and only one - login, as well as LDAP

That's good news. ("integrated - one and only one - login") long

I don't know if this is a reported bug or not, but
I find that if I am running a VMware windows session and
am authenticated to a Netware box AND I am also logged in
through the Linux client, if I log out of Windows I also get disconnected
at the Linux level. Maybe there is no way for Netware to distinguish the
connections so both get dropped?

I haven't had that problem with my XP VM running on my SLED box.

This direction I did not try yet. But if running SLED or Suse Linux
10.x in a Vmware Windows session both connections are absolutely
independent.

Are you runing in NAT mode? If yes, maybe you should try running in bridge
mode instead.
