On my nw 5.1.7 server running GW 6.5.4 I have for a long time
used toolbox (file size 159 459 byte)
After upgrading teh server to NW 6.5.5 the server abends when
toolbox is loaded.
Is there a toolbox that is safe to use on NW 6.5.5 ?
On the minimum patch download site there is an etbox7.exe.
Can I use this version?

Thanks

It does not ask for authentication.
I checked the version and the toolbox that is on the server is v2.17
akvang
Yes I tried to load it manually and the it loaded fine.
We have just installed a new GW domain and postoffice on another NW
6.5.5 server. I think I'll try the same setup/configuration on that
server and se how it works.
Below is the first part of the abend log.

I'm using cron and toolbox to backup my Groupwise system
and this worked fine on a NW 5.1.7 server which is now
reinstalled to a NW 6.5.5 server.
It seems more like it is when toolbox start copying files that
it abends?
Below is the contents of my crontab and GWbackup.ncf files

To be honest, the actual abend will probably be better dealt with in a new
thread over in the NW6 abends forum, they probably have a better feel for
what it could be than I do. We've moved on to something that isn't really
Groupwise related anymore.
Have the drives changed from traditional to NSS as well, and was the new
server installed fresh as 6.5.5, I had a couple of backup abends here
until I did a poorebuild on the volumes on a server that had been upgraded
through various 6.x versions of nSS.

Yes We did a fresh install using the NW 6.5.5 overlay ISO,
so the drives are now NSS.
Thanks for your support
akvang
I did run the commands manually.
The toolbox loaded OK, but when it startet copying files
it asked for authentication, which I provided and then
it did run without problem.
I also loaded toolbox with the /NL switch and then it did
run without asking for authentication.
Could the lack of authentication make the toolbox to abend the server?
