I'm able to access trees via my ConsoleOne instance when specifying the
server as ipaddr:port, but I am also using ConsoleOne on Linux so that may
make a difference. With the tree field I typically just use the IP
address and maybe the port (cannot remember now) without the tree at the
front.

Good luck.

I've done that, and it worked fine for me with the Linux version of
ConsoleOne. Or are you using the Windows version?

Interesting. I had to fire up a Windows VM to try it, and you're right,
it doesn't seem that the Windows version of ConsoleOne will authenticate
to a tree configured with a non-standard port (other than 524).

Even if you bind first to the tree via the client with that port (assuming
that works... I don't have windows with a client to test)?

Good luck.

I think that would work, but I can't test it right now.
