Hi all,

does anyone know a port of a recent version of TCL for NetWare?

Thanks,

I ported TCL 6.2 years ago. I won't do it again.

Wouldn't you rather have a nicer language, like Python?

You can run Jython right now, works great.

http://www.jython.org

I have ported Python 1.5.2 to NetWare, and am slowly working on Python 2.2

Hi Brad,

I have a program that I'd like to port, but it depends on a recent TCL.

I haven't looked at the TCL source for .. many years.

However I didn't have much difficulting porting TCL years ago. You could
probably port it again without much difficulty. The big problems occur when
you want your TCL scripts to do something really useful, like examine NDS or
authenticate. Then it gets difficult.
