As some of you know, I'm a production manager for the GameCity festival. We've had an old arcade machine hanging around the office for years now, and are going to turn it into something better using an old PC and the help of an artist we know from Leicester.

The gutting and rebuilding, we'd like to do at hackspace this weekend. It'd be there from some point this week until Friday the 19th, and we'd make sure it was out of the way on days we weren't working on it. During the festival, it'd be in the big tent like thing in the Market Square, and afterward, it has a permanent home at Confetti.

If there are any objections or problems with the above, please let me know.

I'm happy with this one as long as it doesn't get in the way of all the hard work done on Sunday.

Dominic: It won't be noisy. At least, anything we're doing will be a lot quieter than the dance school. At most, drilling a few holes in chipboard.

Kai: Thanks. The idea is we're putting an old gaming PC in it, then NTU/Confetti students can have game jams and make stuff to put on it. If we hit trouble with the PC, it be great to have those boards as a potential backup for the festival.
