Samsung Galaxy S II won't show up under devices in iTunes

Hey, think my preferences may be wrong, but can't figure it out.
Never got the prompt to "mount" according to these instructions,

Can't figure out how to attach a screenshot to show you the
preferences.

I just got a new Galaxy S II, and it took me a while to figure this
out. Follow these steps:

1) Go to the Galaxy S II "Settings" menu
2) Press on "Wireless and network" tab
3) Press on "USB utilities"
4) Make sure your USB cable IS NOT connected at this point (otherwise,
a message will tell you to disconnect the cable).
5) Press "Connect storage to PC"
6) Now, connect your USB cable between your PC and Galaxy phone
7) Press "Connect USB Storage"
8) Start Notpod and you should now be able to setup the Notpod
Preferences for a New Device, and sync to the Galaxy.
9) Each time you want to sync your Galaxy, you will need to follow
this procedure to connect your PC to the Galaxy.
