Bueno, finalmente NotiUY 2.0 beta ya funciona en Internet Explorer 6+ gracias a
un parche del CSS que me mandó paler.

Aunque no se ve perfecto, lo importante es que anda. También había un problema
con el código javascript que queda pendiente para revisar, por lo cual lo que
hice ahora fue:

1. detectar el navegador (usando los middleware de django)
2. si el navegador no es MSIE cargo la página como siempre
3. si el navegador es MSIE:
   * uso un CSS particular (styles_ie.css)
   * deshabilito el código javascript
   * muestro un mensaje (por única vez) al usuario invitándolo a bajar un
     navegador de verdad :)

Esta solución es temporal hasta que algún voluntario se ofrezca a escribir un
CSS propio para el IE.

Buenas, tanto tiempo... creo que el problema con el javascript es
sencillo de arreglar: MSIE no acepta bloques javascript sin cuerpo, es
decir declararlo como <script ... /> sino que hay que declarlo como
<script ...></script> incluso si no hay nada que poner entre los
tags... proba eso (a mi me funcionó), pero no recuerdo en cual archivo
es :(

Una vez más has dado en el clavo, paler.

Probé cambiar <script ... /> por <script></script> y ahora el javascript no
jode. Ya subí el cambio a beta.notiuy.com.
