For now, I propose we try to meet next Tuesday 6:30pm. And I'd like to suggest the same reading which the SF group is doing: Amazon's Dynamo. How does this sound?
While I can host, I'm probably not the best to guide the discussion. Who would like to volunteer? Ideally someone who is familiar this weeks topic.
As background reading, you may want to read the short paper which was read by the SF group last week: The End of an Architectual Era.
All papers can be found: http://nosqlsummer.org/papers
The NorthScale offices are at: 200 West Evelyn Ave. Suite 110, Mountain View. Right next to MV Caltrain.
I'll sync with up with Ryan this week.
Cheers,
Steven

I don't think I'll be a good discussion lead, but I am likely to
publish a summary of the article and discussion points afterward.
Here are my notes on the previous paper:

Aa *discussion* would be expected, though -- not a presentation of the
whole paper.
I'll just highlight the good bits, get the ball rolling, and try to
keep the conversation on track.
