  While OSCON 2009 had several separate presentations on NoSQL projects, &lt;br&gt; they typically involved each project differentiating itself from &lt;br&gt; SQL-style systems. While that is helpful to many people, it&#39;s largely &lt;br&gt; redundant from presentation to presentation. It also doesn&#39;t exploit &lt;br&gt; OSCON&#39;s primary benefit: bringing together many FOSS projects.

  If many people are interested and especially people from overseas, we &lt;br&gt; Maybe we can toss these ideas around together during the FOSDEM nosql &lt;br&gt; devroom? I&#39;d love to see a broad NoSQL EU thing happen as well. There&#39;s &lt;br&gt; quite a bit of local interest apparently, but real-world cases (as far as I &lt;br&gt; know of) are still rare.
