From the Seattle Balkan Dancers:
We're getting ready for our FolkLife festival with a great Friday
night dance party with Vassil and Maria Bebelekov, fine musicians
who'll be playing a full evening of Balkan dance tunes. Join in the
fun tonight at the Russian Community Center starting at 9 pm going
until 11:30 or so. We suggest a donation of $15 for adults, $8 for
students age 14-20, and free for children 13 and under. The music is
getting started a little late tonight because Jana will be teaching a
lesson, getting us ready for party dances, from 7:30 till 8:30 pm. The
cost is $20 for folks who come for Jana's lesson and the party, (party
is included for folks who signed up for the series.) It's a party,
so bring party foods to share, and bring your friends.
