First off, don't forget our Wednesday activities tonight: community

Elise Parker has asked that we pray for her uncle, Jim Matthews, who had a
stroke last night. He is in the hospital where doctors have said that it is
likely he'll also have a heart attack. Jim is Pastor Mike Matthews' older
brother. Thanks for praying for Jim and the whole Matthews family.

Farewell for the Goodwins

As you know, Rev. Betty Jean Goodwin is being installed as the pastor at
Worcester First Church of the Nazarene on Sunday. Whether preaching,
playing the drums or organ, dedicating tireless and skilled labor in the
parsonage and church building, or "being there" in difficult times, Paul &
Betty Jean have been instrumental members of the North Street Community.

Brysen Parker Scott

Sorry for the delay in news, but everything is fine. (We lost internet just
before he was born and only now got back cell service...still no internet.)
Nonetheless, Brysen is beautiful and great. Born @ 4:31 PM, 8 lbs. 1 ounce,
21.5 ". Mom is great and was incredible.

No Wednesday Evening Gatherings

Our household is sick (Meghan's feeling the best of any of us) and a couple
of others can't/shouldn't be there this evening, so I'm going to go ahead

We have Community Dinner (6:00 PM) and Bible Study (7:00 PM). Everyone

worshiping with us for the last several months (he brings his adorable
little daughter with him, and usually sits with Toni Kulak). He is
packing up for Iraq on Saturday to drive trucks and will be coming

Just a quick note to remind you about tonight's Wednesday evening
Community Dinner tonight. I'll be cooking up burgers and hot dogs on
the grill. Everyone is invited to bring rolls, chips, salads, desserts,
etc. to compliment the burgers and dogs. We'll eat at 6:00 PM and study
