Hacky New Year everyone!

i'm looking for some more maker/hacker/people talking about building cool stuff podcasts, to provide extra inspiration for making cool stuff over this year. can anyone recommend any more good ones?

I'm already listening to:

Make Talk: Mark frauenfelder, out of/off of make magazine and boing boing, interviews makers that have been in make magazine.

Still Untitled, The adam savage podcast: adam savage from mythbusters (my hero) talks about making and other general shite with two guys from the tested.com website.

99% Invisible: a short podcast about design , taken from NPR radio in the states. fascinating, but frustrating, as they talk about visual things, and if you're in the car you cant look at the website to see pictures of what they mean. fantastic use of sound and music as well.

radiolab is not really maker related, more the intersection of science and culture. but truly  the best podcast I have ever heard.

also happy new year!

I know this isnt helpful, and it is only my opinion, but... do your own thing. It would take too long to explain why I say that here. I've just come to increasingly really believe this over the past year or so. You'll probably have more fun anyway. You are good at this anyway Ed.

That said, this on radio4 last night was kind of interesting, if only for where and when it was aired.

I guess we can go into more depth next time we see each other, Cay, but my feeling is a lot of these podcasts/programmes are a good source of other peoples experience to broaden my knowlegde on subjects, and to get different perspectives on some interesting subjects. they are also entertaining!

it might be relevant here to point out i stopped reading wired as it was making me feel bad that i wasn't an internet millionaire by my 23rd birthday. yay magazine based inadequacy!
