Do you have MakerSpace Pi Kit

I am checking our Raspberry Pi kit ahead of the Maker Faire and a lot of bits and pieces are mussing. If you were borrowing anything can you mention it so we know what we still have and what will need replacing.

Also is anyone using Tony's Pi relay board? If not I would like to borrow it for an experiment.

Hiya.

One of them is in the media box along with an sd card. It's easily removable but I'd prefer the card was backed up if it is required. I have a backup from a while ago but some of the settings and code have changed since then so it would have to be reapplied.

I hope we can actually take the whole box. By the way it was playing up last week taking an age to start and then it would not refill the queue after it was empty.

Yeah, it was playing up for me too. Didn't get to the bottom of it but it wasn't consistent. Seemed it struggled every other time it was started.

I want to improve the code anyway now we have the case sorted.

The music server is using a Pi that belongs to the space but I think the SD in it might be mine (would have to see it to confirm)
Dawn may have a Pi still on loan.

That's the only ones I know about

Jus to clarify, Dawn has returned the Pi and I think they are all accounted for. It ius the SD cards sans cables that are the bits that are missing. Many can be purchased for £1, but I need to know what we will be getting back before I replace them.

Also, for the sake of clarity, I'll just declare that I did borrow an HDMI to DVI converter over the Easter weekend, but returned it on the following Tuesday (apparently after Chris had been in to borrow one and found the box bare. Sorry Chris! - though that could have been a wind up?) I don't have any makerspace pi H/W now. Perhaps we should create some kind of loan tracking system for future, so if something is needed it can be tracked down? W. P.S. If anyone's buying cheap HDMI to DVI converters I'd like to increase the order size by one...

Okay, this happened again last night. I was getting out the Pis for
the Late Shows and I could only find one, and I could not find any SD
cards that were defiantly in there when I checked a couple of weeks
ago. We hurriedly managed to cobble two setup together using Cay's and
my kit without dismantling anything, but this is the second time the
MakerSpace kit has been needed and it was missing.

We do need to sort this. I though we were asking on this list when we
wanted to borrow things from the space but unless I missed it this is
not happening, and we don't seem to have a record of who has anything.
Is this not in fact what we are doing? Do we need to put a polite
warning on the Pi box perhaps?

Chris tidied them up and everything was there at the start of the
month ready for last night. I suspect someone has quite innocently
borrowed them but without asking or telling anyone. Normally I would
not mind but this is the second time this has caused a problem.

I think the box was ditched as we did not have all that many flyers left.

Tony and Dawn had one each that were returned, plus the one in the music player.

RE: Flyer Box @ Maker Faire

Someone (Tony? / Alistair?) grabbed a bunch out of one full flyer box and then I pinched the rest to give to Andy Lloyd so he could keep a steady supply on their Flyers stand.  He's definitely very keen on the Makers Movement here in Newcastle and I was only too glad for him to take enough to keep the CfL Flyers stand nicely stocked.
