I've got a couple character sheets I've come across while going
through books.  Here's the question: when I finally put together the
master character sheet file, do I sort by player and then campaign, or
campaign then player?  Or do I just go crazy and sort by system
regardless of campaign?

Okay; first, "master character sheet file?"  Jesus, Gary, did you let
Drew store his crazy in your head when he moved away?

Second, why not do both?  Have a "campaign" section with everything
sorted one way, and a "player" section with everything sorted the
other.  If you're going to descend into madness, you might as well go
whole hog.

Third, way to post on this board more frequently than the people who
are actually in the campaign.  Have a chip.

I told you Gary was even crazier than I was.  But no-one listened.

Assuming you are just making an Excel database, is it not almost
irrelevant which way you sort?  You could always print out versions
sorted by character, by player, by campaign, by system ... by year ...
by system complexity ... find the mean of the number of hours spent
playing each system as it pertains to the location of the session.
Turn this in on Wednesday.

Aah.  I was unclear.  No, I'm simply sorting the actual physical
character sheets.  In other news, our list of rpg books just broke
500!  Granted, 225 of those are pdfs, but that means 275 aren't!!!

So many rpgs, so little time...
