We've been using NoRM in a production application for a few months now
and I'm really interested in the long-term plans for the project.
Recently we've been doing some spikes using the 10gen approved C#
driver and it's stability and performance is really awesome.
Additionally, it's support for sharding and other features of MongoDB
are becoming more and more important for us. I would hate to lose the
great LINQ support within NoRM but improved stability and feature
compliance is starting to look very attractive. Would someone share
the official roadmap for the project with the list and perhaps some
insight into the plans to get to a 1.0 release.

Thanks,
JC

The plan is to break out the NoRM specific functionality (LINQ, MongoConfiguration, etc.). As well as remove any functionality that has been superseded by the 10Gen driver (GridFS, for example) - although in removing the functionality, we may include compatibility extension methods. I haven't had much time to work on it lately, and there hasn't been a lot of interest from contributors in taking on the transition - as it will involve refactoring legacy code, rather than writing new code - it's not as "sexy." Any contributions could certainly expedite the transition and would be greatly appreciated..
