Welcome to an exciting year for Northern California FIRST LEGO League !
We want to thank our FLL community for their support of FIRST and all programs! We were excited to see so many of you at the FTC and FRC events in the spring.
We would like to have all FLL members stay within the FIRST community as they age out of FLL - hopefully you agree! If you have team members that have aged out and need information about the two high school FIRST programs (FIRST Tech Challenge and/or FIRST Robotics Competition), let us know and we can connect you.
Over the past season, several individuals expressed interest in helping more actively with tournaments / mentoring / informational / training types of activities. I wanted to let you know that if you are interested in helping with any of these areas for FLL, now is the time to let us know!
With respect to FLL tournaments for the 2010 season, we are in the planning stages for ~16 November qualifying tournaments, 3 December regional tournaments and the January Championship. A few groups/teams/coaches have previously expressed interest in hosting a FLL tournament - please let us know soon (if we have not already exchanged emails on this topic for 2010 season) . And similarly, If you want to join the monthly planning group for the 2010 FLL season, let me know as soon as possible as we have already started meeting for this season.
