Dear FIRST Lego League coaches and mentors,

MAKER FAIRE IS COMING AND YOU CAN JOIN US!

What is Maker Faire <http://www.makerfaire.com/>?  A
family-friendly event to MAKE, create, learn, invent, CRAFT,
recycle, think, play and be inspired by celebrating arts,
crafts, engineering, food, music, science and technology.

We can have 6 FLL teams come to Maker Faire in San Mateo on
Saturday May 19 or  Sunday May 20.

In exchange for coming, your team will get Maker Faire day passes!

The whole team does not need to come, and the robot doesn't have to
be "perfect," but being capable of completing at least some of the missions
would be good.  We will be setting up the Food Factor challenge table to use.

Your team plus 1 adult   should be prepared to demo the team's Food Factor
robot,  show off  and talk  about your project and generally answer questions
and generally help promote the FLL program.

The Maker Faire is amazing, full of neat stuff and loads of fun. The day
passes you'll  get  will allow you to attend the Faire for the entire day; in
exchange, we just need a few hours out of your day to help promote FLL.

To sign up, please e-mail the form below to me at ji...@playingatlearning.org
with which slot(s) your   team can attend!    Please only respond with
the times that you are sure that your team can be there -  and the more
flexible teams will be the most likely to be selected.

Please indicate all of the slots for which you're available in the order
of decreasing preference (put a "1" next to your first choice, a "2"
next to your second, etc.).  Please respond as soon as possible,
so that we can coordinate the schedule - I will confirm by Sunday
May 6th.

Visit the Maker Faire <http://www.makerfaire.com/> web site to see all
the fun things you and your team can see and do.

Note that we can offer entry tickets to team members and one
adult coach.   I will be sending the Maker Faire "liability" waiver form
once I confirm your slot - we must have these scanned/emailed or faxed
ahead of time individually for each person that is participating in our
booth.
