Team Blasts from FIRST HQ ....

FIRST Headquarters will send out regular emails to all coaches throughout the season.  These team blasts are archived -  as of yesterday, there have been 8 of these team blasts sent out since April.

These emails notify coaches about things such as field kits,  general resources and the like.   These emails from FIRST will _not_ give you specific information about Northern California deadlines or specific Northern California events or tournament information.    In particular,  we have had a few questions about yesterday's team blast about Event Registration :

Event Registration is Open

Once you register your team, you can also begin registering for events (https://gofll.usfirst.org). If no events are listed in your region, check back often. New events are being posted every day!

The Northern California region will  _not_ be using the FIRST event registration system this year for the kickoff or our tournaments  (we did last year).  We will post the general information  (when, where) on the FIRST site but the specific registration will not go through the FIRST system.   


We have details on how to register for the Kickoff Event already posted on the norcalfll.org site and we will start announcing how to register for the restricted tournaments soon and then general tournament registration will open in early October.    For more specific information,  read the article on the norcalfll.org site titled,  "2010 Nor Cal Tournament Info"
