Purse Snatching in the 1200 block Dublin

On Monday, 06/22/09 at about 7:10 p.m., the victim was standing in
the 1200 block of Dublin Street and was approached by an unknown black
male between the ages of 35-40, 5'08, 140 pounds, clad in a dark blue
shirt and light blue scrub pants. The unknown black male asked the
victim for directions, the victim responded and gave the unknown black
male directions. The black male rode off on his bicycle only to return
to the victim slapping the victim in the back of her head and taking
her purse from her left shoulder. The black male then fled on his
bicycle in an unknown direction. The victim started to walk in the
1400 block of Dublin Street and was met by an unknown white male, who
found her purse in the 1400 block of Dublin Street. The victim went
through her purse and observed that the cash was missing.
