site this round. It was more of a proof of concept for potential use
elsewhere, really... I've made a total of $1.09, and at least one of
those 5 clicks was me testing :). I'm planning to remove those for
logged in players. I do find the ads it chooses based on the text of
the rules somewhat amusing, however, so will maybe make it a choice
:).
You also may have noticed the search box. It's still a bit shaky in
the results it gives--many outdated links from prior rounds. I've
created a sitemap for the googlebot to use, and also corrected the
http response code the site gives for not found pages to 404 (was 200
or 500). This should improve the search results over time.
The other thing I added behind the scenes is google analytics, which
is revealing a lot of cool info... it looks like we have Nomicron
players (or at least regular site visitors) in at least five different
countries: USA, UK, India, Netherlands, and Germany. I know in the
past, we've had players from Australia and Israel too. For the record,
I'm in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the US (actually a suburb called St
Louis Park).
