Hello!

First, I would thank for the one of best program of file managers
(total commander, far manager, unreal commander and nomad.net).

Second. I find a bug. Information about free space is not refreshing
than I deleting files. Only if I close and run the
program again.

Third. Suggestion. Please make bar (as progress bar) about free space
as it madded in Unreal Commander under disk buttons. It's very easy to
see, how much free space I have without move my mouse or press any
keys.
I can make screenshots if it needed.

Thanks.

First of all which Nomad version you are using? And where free space is not refreshed? In the latest version there is at least 3 places where volume free space can be displayed. Which one you mentioned?

I will be nice to have screenshots, because right now I've not completely sure what do you mean.

Thanks.

I wrote about last public version - 3.0.5.2365. And about information
about free space in tooltip of disk: http://narod2.yandex.ru/disk/38032743001/freespace.png
. Right information is on the bottom of panel, not in tooltip.

Sorry, I didn't see information about disk information on the bottom
of panel. The UD has alternative of this info, that takes less spaces
on panel: http://narod2.yandex.ru/disk/38033043001/freespace-UC.png .
Please don't see on text label above. I don't think that is right.

Do you understand me?)

I found a new problem with free space: when disk have less than 1 Gb
(ex. 0,98Gb), than in tooltip and label on the bottom of the panel
showns 0 Gb free, no 0,9Gb or 0,98Gb.

Could you fix it?

And I made the picture, where you can see wrong information in Nomad
about free space and total space on my flash drive.

Actually this is a bug. Thanks for noting this, I'll fix it.

Well, I do not see any improvements here. From what I know toolbar with text free space info cannot be disabled in UC, and this free space stripe is enabled as addition, so it does not save any window space.

And volume panel in Nomad, created not only for showing free space info, but also volume label, volume type and disk allocation.

BTW, there is another way to show free space info, find it in panel settings in Options dialog.

Nomad can report total volume size that is not the same as reported by Explorer. This is not a bug and by design, because Nomad trying to retrieve volume size directly from device driver when possible, while Explorer and other FM use OS functions only.

Can you provide me with more details? What the type of your removable drives? Flash reader or something else? Does Nomad report free space incorrectly always, or only for some removable (flash?) disks?
If you will find any correlation it will be great.

Gm... Text free space is equivalent volume panel, yes, but I think
it's necessary thing for active use of FM. OK, options - no problem. I
don't think that free space stripe take up much space on window -
about 5-10 pixel isn't a lot... So, if no, ok, no problem. But bug
with space information very prevents me.

OK. And for what? MS is de facto standard of this. It's faster?

I don't understand why it can be on yesterday... Now i just did same
copies, try to see error again, but it's strange - i can't. May be it
is interconnected to my yesterday changes option about size format of
files: GB, Mb or dynamically. I set Gb, Mb and after restore again to
dynamically. I think, may be default volumes didn't set properly in
Nomad after install or upgrade. Can it be?
