Friday, October 30th - Panorama Jazz Band
The Panorama Jazz Band has been a continuous presence on the New
Orleans music scene since 1995. Equally at home in the Crescent City's
numerous nightclubs, at intimate French Quarter soirees or at
international music festivals, this collection of Louisiana musicians,
with their traditional instruments and their fascinating repertoire,
have proven over the years that they can come into any situation,
capture anybody's attention and bring a party!
Saturday, Oct 31st - Glen David Andrews & the Jazz Cats
In New Orleans, the city that gave the world jazz, a young trombone
player and vocalist is proudly taking that style of music into the
21st Century. Glen David Andrews, articulates his city's deep musical
heritage through his performing better than anyone his age. He has one
foot planted in the more contemporary, funky sounds that define
today's New Orleans brass band scene; meanwhile, Andrews shows his
elders the respect he believes they deserve, as his other foot rests
