Showcasing some of New Orleans' premiere indie rock bands at some of
New Orleans finest venues, NOIR FEST III will help to unite New
Orleans' indie rock community this November 20th and 21st. Eight bands
will perform at two venues over two nights to deliver a single display
of the New Orleans indie rock community as it is today. Artists
include Hurray for the Riff Raff, Gamma Ringo, Giant Cloud,
MyNameIsJohnMichael, Givers, One Man Machine, Loren Murrell, and Vox
and the Hound (Leo DeJesus). In addition to showcasing New Orleans
indie rock, the festival is also the release party for the
collective's third FREE sampler CD, HIPPER THAN THOU, which features
two songs from eight local indie rock bands. This is a FREE sampler
for all festival attendees. Tickets for the Fest are $6 for a night

The second night will feature photographer Zack Smith's Faces of Rock
Portraits. Smith will be projecting portraits of local indie rockers
into Blue Nile, creating a psychadelic and transformative experience.

(NOIR Collective), a group of music industry professionals dedicated
to raising awareness of and building the infrastructure for the New
Orleans indie rock scene. We produce semi-annual sampler CDs and
