Nicholas suggested I be the first to post a node.js role to the list. I'm honoured to be breaking new ground and promise not to flood the list with jobs.

There is a well funded startup based in Sydney who are building a small development team. It's the first company I've worked with who are using Node for a major application, which is awesome to see. 

The company is in the gaming industry (think LAN party games, not poker machines). The main founder is technical and understands how to create the right sort of work environment. 

You have free reign to use the technologies you feel are right for the problem at hand. So far, it has been Node. They also use mySQL, Riak, CouchDB, Redis, Chef, JavaScript, HTML & CSS. 

You'll be writing fresh code while using great equipment and working flexible hours.

There's a role available for a senior developer and a mid level developer. Salary at this stage is around $100K + Super with equity on top. If you're after more than that, get in touch anyway as there might be flexibility.
