Some Chumby love for node.js

Looks like Duane over at Chumby has been doing some node.js work on
their Linux-based embedded clock devices.

They've got a post here,
http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?id=7033, about building node
0.4.11 for the device, and a new one at
http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?id=7607 about writing a simple
wiki app for node to run on the device. There's no enough memory to
run both their Flash-based dashboard and the wiki-server, so they boot
into a custom mode for wiki duty.

I believe the sony dash is chumby based? I have that its roughly $120 or so. i'm curious about this i'd like to look into it.

The Sony Dash can't be hacked... it's locked down due to Sony having
their own video providers on it.

The Chumby One and Chumby 8 are both are out of production. There was
a stock of C8's on sellout.woot.com yesterday for $79 each. You also
can put this on an Insignia Infocast device -- the 3.5" screen version
is basically the same as a Chumby One and often on eBay for $35ish.
