Maybe I'm just optimistic but do we also have an md5 library in there
that we can expose?

My biggest issue is md5 performance and reliability in js > base64.

The built-in 'crypto' module provides an MD5 implementation that is exposed as an external API to applications.

That's what I was hoping for, node-base64 was in quite a bad shape.

If merged, please don't forget it in the next release announcement, so
we all can drop the dependency.
