actually... i dont like it. and i dont see how it improves my development work, it introduces xml back and misuse it, a language serialize structured data, for logic expression.
it removes ; and braces but it introduces verbosity.

i'd rather use coffee script.

oh and it forces me to use your editor.

and it looks ugly, but thats my opinion ;)

Give it a spin and let me know what you think.

Thanks!

It seems You are trying to do sort of this http://www.onboard.jetbrains.com/is1/articles/04/10/lop (Language Oriented Programming)
If so - You may find this product interesting - JetBrains MPS product. It failed, but it still an interesting concept.

Also, You may want to work a little and familiarise Yourself with TextMate or something similar to not to limit Yourself with old fashioned window interfaces.

Programming with the mouse is to slow.
You are a few years to early, maybe in the future, when we can directly interface with the computer, have virtual reality and stuff, something like this will come in handy. Until then back to your IDE or even a simple text editor.

Nice try, though.

Actually a keyboard driven version of something like this might be
neat. When I do word processing I love using the lyx editor. It's a
GUI front-end for latex and so your content has to be highly
structured. You can't hit enter 5 times to increase the number of
lines between paragraphs.

What I think would be neat is a text editor that constantly parses
your code and reformats to some lint standard as you type. This could
internally use a data structure like this.

Talking with a friend about Resig's Khan Academy CS course, we came to
the conclusion that they are missing a huge audience of those who do
not have computers with keyboards but only have phones and tablets.
It reminded me of this 'editor.' I think this style of editor might
work well on a mobile/touch OS.

i think, even on a mobile, a simple editor with powerful completion suggestion engine, smart block recognition and/or makro-like dsl would be fit more for development than a button-rich scroll-drag-put editor.
