Great job by the crew of "A Lonely Place for Dying" - Director Justin Evens has shown that the independent film movement in New Mexico is alive and well. The film was shot at the old prison in Santa Fe. The action film is well on its way with a distributor in place and should turn a profit for its investors. Great turnout for the premier showing at the Kimo tonight.

Echoing the sentiment, congrats to Justin and his team for really pulling off a well constructed yarn, good production values, and with a very low budget. Raising the bar. Very inspiring! More more more everyone!

The film was very polished and something to be proud of. Way beyond what I would have anticipated on such a small budget. Great going.

Thanks, Ken and all those who attended. We appreciate everyones
support. ALPFD is a great example of the kind of work New Mexico's
local talent can achieve on a micro budget. There were lots of
sacrifices along the way, but in the long run it will payoff for
everyone involved. It all starts with a great script and Justin and
Catherine delivered. More to come...
