Cinnafilm needs a new website by NAB 2010.
Cinnafilm is looking to hire a web development company to create a new, more involved Hollywood-professional website to show off our technology. As many of you know we have the world’s most advanced image processing engine on the market, powering our professional array of software used in both professional post houses and broadcast facilities world-wide. It is time for us to expand our image on the web.
We are looking for proposals due December 1st. Please base it on building the following website: http://www.assimilateinc.com/index.html. Your company will be expected to have the tools/resources necessary to accomplish a similar website in scope and capability NLT April 1, 2010, with preliminary partial launches of content in two earlier stages (for instance we want demo reels and training videos posted early by Feb 15 or so). Video content will be created and supplied by us (files) as well as all verbal content. Blogs and forums will need to be managed/accessible by us. This will be a cost-plus contract, not an hourly job. It will need to include unlimited technical support for up to 12 months and at least 6 onsite Albuquerque meetings at Cinnafilm. Technical support is different than new content once it is built, new content would require an hourly estimate which needs to be included as part of the proposal. In addition we would create several advertisements for use ramping up to NAB 2010 – 3 advertisements in all, two for print (half page), one for web banners leading up through NAB. This would require photography, as would the site probably. Keep in mind that we are cost-sensitive on this project. The ads should match the look/feel of the website.
We need all proposals NLT December 1 COB. Contract award will be announced December 15th. Please keep the proposal to 4 pages or less (PDF). Do not mail us a proposal after the due date. Include a single sheet with links to comparable work, professional experience is key, we are not interested in supporting “student” projects. We need to know how long you have been in business and why you can support this effort properly. Special consideration will be given to NM-based companies. The theme I want to work with is the mysterious yet scientific NM landscape (Los Alamos Labs, Oppenheimer, White Sands, etc) combined with our current astrophysics themed approach as well – the focus is on Pixel Strings and what it can do, and the array of products it supports (Dark Energy, Relativity, etc). I am not expecting bidders to have a full understanding of what we do or how our stuff works at this time, just the ability to work with us and deliver a top notch product on time.
