Those using openSUSE can install the nltk from the python-nltk package
in the "devel:languages:python" repository.
The easiest way to do this is to use one of the following 1-click-
install for your version of openSUSE:
http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/devel:languages:python/openSUSE_11.2/python-nltk.ymp
http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/devel:languages:python/openSUSE_11.1/python-nltk.ymp
http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/devel:languages:python/openSUSE_11.0/python-nltk.ymp
Or you can use the following commands in the terminal as root (adjust
for your version of openSUSE):
# zypper addrepo -f http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/python/openSUSE_11.2/
devel:languages:python
# zypper install python-nltk
After installing python-nltk, you can install the data as described in
the webpage (http://www.nltk.org/data).
I hope you find this helpful! Please let me know if you have any
issues with the package.
