Het is een bijschrift bij een foto op facebook:

"Olha como é fácil ter 2 milhões no banco"

De foto toont twee maiskolven op een plastic bankje.

Een taalgrapje waar ik toch weer even over moest nadenken.

Daar zijn twee redenen voor, de eerste is uiteraard dat mais geen mais
is (dat is meer, op z´n Portugees) maar milho.

De tweede is dat hier een constructie wordt gebruikt die het Nederlands
niet kent (laat ik het zo zeggen: ik kan geen voorbeeld bedenken). Het
tegengestelde van een verkleinwoord, dus een vergrootwoord?

Milhão is dus ook een _hele grote_ maiskolf.
