MEDIA INFORMATICS: A new major for a new kind of student

As a media informatics major, you’ll work in our state-of-the-art media laboratory, a high-defi nition editing, compositing and graphics network with the latest audio, video and Web development software. You’ll learn to create content with words and images.
 

You can get hands-on experience in the nstitute for Information Innovation, a learning laboratory handling real-world media
projects for area companies.
 

With your Bachelor of Arts in Media Informatics, you could

• build dynamic digital content for traditional media companies
• implement digital marketing and public relations campaigns
• produce independent media projects
• study how such digital technologies as animation, interactive content, or mobile computing are changing how we use media
   

And if you are so inspired, your Media Informatics degree can set you up for a lifetime of working for nobody but yourself.
