I have the same problem, at least I think so.
I've been having some difficulties with validation before, but that
turned out to be because I was wiring elements that hadn't materialised
yet.
This was easily detectable by LiveValidation errors in the FF error
console.
Currently I have a page that I wf:replace() some textboxes into, and
validation does not work.
I have tried wiring them and putting the validators directly in the
actions attribute of the textbox element.
Both do not work, and both do not cause any errors in the error
console.
I thought this might be due to my app containing a bug, but after
reading this thread I'm not so sure about that anymore.

Bas, no problem. :) Regarding your first problem, when you were referencing not yet existing
elements in the validation code which made LiveValidation fail. I saw such problem previously,
but I have resolved that before I faced the current problem.
I have put together a sample code to make the discussion easier. Maybe someone could point
out if I do the dynamic validation addition incorrectly:

I could always reproduce the problem with this. Even though the new validators get added to the state
through the state handler I see in later trace messages that when the state is queried
the validators are missing.
Once the page is loaded there's one 'form' on the page initially and another one gets added 2 secs
later. Validation works for the first, but not for the second. There's a comet process running which
gets a message and that triggers the addition of the second form in updater/0.
Jesse, can you reproduce the problem with this sample code? Do you see any problems in the way
I try to add dynamic validation?

I am able to reproduce it. It doesn't throw an error, but the
livevalidation just isn't doing anything for me on Chrome.
I'll be experimenting with this for a bit to see if I can't find a
solution for it. I've begun tinkering with the way zotonic fixed
their LV usage, and perhaps this might kill two birds with one stone.
Thanks for the code snippet, that always helps to have an easy bit of
code that reliably produces the bug.
