I have it configured as you said, but it doesn't work. Note: I have the app
set to manual sync, so perhaps that's a contributing factor.
After a phone reboot, if you neither go into the app with the PIN, nor you
have push or auto-sync scheduled, the reminder won't work
even though the event is in the database from a prior sync (done before the
device rebooted).

I believe it's a real bug, can you try it as above? I think you'll be able
to reproduce it (make sure to disable push so the app is set to manual
sync).
